TAMA HOCHBAUM's solo show entitled "Looking Through the Glass; Planes, Trains and Automobiles" (Spring 2009) was chosen by art reviewer Blue Greenberg as one of the best of 2009. She will be showing a body of work illustrating the text of Alice in Wonderland in March 2010 in Durham. She will also be showing at Craven Allen Gallery in Durham and the gallery at Nested in Chapel Hill in May, as well as a large exhibition at Cary Town Hall in November of 2010.
She recently collaborated with her husband, the composer Allen Anderson, on a piece for the Digital Arts Festival at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, which was performed on February 16th. The piece, entitled "Graffito", uses captured digital sounds coordinated with over 150 images.

NINA ZURIER will be included in the Mills College Art Museum's exhibition In Focus: Photography from the Mills College Art Museum Collection, January 20−March 14, 2010.
The Opening Reception is January 27, 6:00−8:00 pm. The exhibition is curated by the new museum director, STEPHANIE HANOR, who was previously head of the curatorial department at the San Diego Museum of Contemporary Art.

JOHN ZURIER  will have a one-person exhibition at Galeria Javier Lopez in Madrid, opening January 13, 2010 and continuing through mid-February. His work will also be exhibited by the gallery at ARCO Madrid, February 17-21, 2010.

LARRY SULTAN, an extraordinary artist and teacher, died on December 13, 2009.

NINA ZURIER's exhibition at Hilliard Architects Gallery, 251 Post Street (sixth floor) in San Francisco, has been extended through early January.

LÉONIE GUYER and FRANCK ANDRÉ JAMME have collaborated on "Mantra Box", a limited edition of 24 books, published by Festina Lente, Paris, 2009.

PATRICIA SONNINO will have open studio on October 24 and 25, 2009, at 340 Bryant Street #310 in San Francisco.

STEPHANIE PEEK has a solo show of paintings at Triangle Gallery in San Francisco, Uncertain Riches, through October 17, 2009. 47 Kearny Street

EMILY WILSON will be participating in the Headlands Open Studios on October 18, 2009, 12-5pm. She is in Building 960 at the top of the hill--there is a shuttle bus.

JUDITH BELZER is included in B&Wx5 at George Lawson Gallery in San Francisco, October 9 through November 7, 2009. This exhibition and the concurrent exhibitions of work by Richmond Burton and Tama Hochbaum mark the one year anniversary of the gallery.

JOHN ZURIER is included in Monochrome at Manifest Gallery in Cincinnati, September 25 through October 23, 2009.
