Robert Ortbal

Robert Ortbal received his MFA from the University of California, Davis. Currently he lives and works in Emeryville, California and is an Assistant Professor at California State University, Sacramento. Recent solo exhibitions have been at the Weigand Gallery at the College of Notre Dame de Namur, Traywick Contemporary, Berkeley, CA and JayJay Gallery, Sacramento, CA. He has exhibited in numerous group shows that include venues like the Berkeley Art Museum and the Oakland Museum of California. Recent public art commissions have been installed at the Oakland International Airport and UC Davis Medical Center, Sacramento.
